No one knows if it will release later today or a month from now microsoft hasnt released word. Your not missing anything theres nothing built to use it yet. People are currently showing dx11.3 dx 12 is still insider access only and if you want dx12 go into windows update, advanced options, insider builds, get started then after you load the newest insider build it will have dx12.
